PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a safe creamy cosmetic having especially good extending properties, light sense of use, good feeling, and excellent preservation stability, further having a viscosity capable of being readily regulated without damaging the practical characteristics, and further to obtain a liquid cosmetic. SOLUTION: This creamy cosmetic contains 0.5-20 wt.% glyceride having a content ratio of triglyceride/diglyceride/monoglyceride regulated so as to be (20-55)/(40-60)/(1-20) (wt.%), and containing >=90 wt.% stearic acid in the fatty acid composition. The liquid cosmetic contains 0.5-20 wt.% glyceride having a content ratio of triglyceride/diglyceride/monoglyceride regulated so as to be (20-55)/(40-60)/(1-20) (wt.%), and containing a fatty acid composition comprising 12-18C saturated fatty acids. The thickening agent for the creamy cosmetic contains the glyceride containing a fatty acid composition comprising >=90 wt.% stearic acid, and having a ratio of triglyceride/diglyceride/monoglyceride regulated so as to be (20-55)/(40-60)/(1-20) (wt.%).
