PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a film for stetch packaging which shows high transparency, pliability, extensibility and superb deformation recovery properties by providing an intermediate layer consisting of a propylene resin and both outer layers of a straight-chain low density polyethylene and specifying the tensile ductility in the MD direction and the tensile ductility in the TD direction respectively. SOLUTION: The film for stretch packaging showing outstanding characteristics for an automatic packaging machine is formed so that it has an intermediate layer consisting of a propylene resin and both outer layers of a straight-chain low density polyethylene and that conditions such as 250-450% tensile ductility in the MD direction and 650% or more tensile ductility in the TD direction are satisfied. In addition, the propylene resin to be used is of such a nature that the weight average molecular weight of the propylene resin is 150,000-500,000 and the eluation amount of the propylene resin to the total amount of the propylene resin is 30-60 wt.% at 0 deg.C or less, 30-55 wt.% at 0-90 deg.C and 5-20 wt.% at 90-130 deg.C, and further that the eluation amount of the propylene resin to the total amount of the propylene resin is 15 wt.% or less within an optional 5 deg.C range between 0 deg.C and 90 deg.C.
