SOLUTION: As the control device 8 of an injection molding machine, a rod position detector 19 for detecting the position of the leading end of an ejector rod to transmit a detection signal F and a rod control device 17 (retreat operation control means) receiving a retract signal B from a retract signal generator 16 (retract signal generating means) to control the operation of a servo motor 14 (rod driver) for retracting the ejector rod on the basis of the detection signal F transmitted by the position detector 19 are provided.
