PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary roof of a prefabricated house which can maintain room temperature in a desired condition without reducing the effect of an air conditioner. SOLUTION: This temporary roof comprises a plurality of support members disposed on the four corners of the roof 2 of a prefabricated house 1, a heat- insulating roof tent 20 having bag-shaped parts 25, 23, 24 each being open at both ends, and an extension means 30 for extending the roof tent 20. A support rod 31 for extension, a first support beam 18 and a second support beam 19 are inserted respectively into the bag-shaped parts 25, 23, 24 and both ends of a holding arm 32 are respectively fitted into and connected to the support rod 31 for extension and the outer fitting cylinder 9 of a support member 6 at one end of the roof 2. Both ends of a connecting rod 10 are respectively fitted into and connected to the first support beam 18 and the inner fitting cylinder 8 of the support member 6, and both ends of a connecting rod 10A are respectively fitted into and connected to the second support beam 19 and the outer fitting cylinder 9 of a support member 6A at the other end of the roof 2. The extension member 30 is extended across the holding arm 32 and the lower part of the prefabricated house 1.
