PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the electromagnetic waves generated from a motor mounted on an electric razor from adversely affecting the human body. SOLUTION: The electric razor is bisected to a razor unit 10 and a driving power unit 20. The two units 10 and 20 are connected by a flexible shaft 30. One end of a power transmission shaft 31 is connected via a power transmission mechanism 26 to an AC motor 24 within the driving power unit 20. The other end is connected to a revolving shaft of an inner blade arranged on the inner side of an outer blade 12 of the razor unit 10. As a result, the revolution output of the AC motor 24 is transmitted to the revolving shaft of the inner blade through the flexible shaft 30. Since the razor unit 10 brought into tight contact with the face is separated from the AC motor 24 which is an electromagnetic generating source, a user does not receive the influence of the electromagnetic waves generated from the motor.
