摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize a detection error even if the luminance distribution of a subject is not uniform by arranging a luminance monitoring light receiving element for controlling the charge storage time of an area light receiving element in the center part of a detection area. SOLUTION: A charge storing type sensor 10 comprises area sensor parts (a)-(d) and line sensor parts (e), (f). Luminance monitors 101ab, 101cd, 101e, 101f measure the subject luminance for determining the charge storage time. Light receiving parts 102a-102f receive the light from the subject and photoelectrically convert it. The luminance monitors 101ab, 101cd; 101e, 101f are mutually connected through connection lines L1, L2, and the luminance is controlled by the sum of the luminous quantities of the both. The luminance monitor 101 has the functions of starting the operation simultaneously with the start of integration of the sensor parts (a)-(f), monitoring the light from the subject, and cutting off the integration of the sensor parts (a)-(f) when the light reaches a prescribed value. The monitors 101ab, 101cd of the area part are arranged in the center of the sensor parts (a)-(d) and substantially in the center of the photographing screen.
