The two ends (3,4) of the canister (1) each have at least one metal or light metal reinforcement (6,7) fixed by an adhesive layer containing spacer pieces (25-27). The reinforcements have attachments and or fixtures (11,19). The reinforcement has a cylindrical section (14) next to an annular section (13) and which encloses the valve at a pre-set distance (a) radially. A cover (15) fits onto the cylindrical section.
