PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain transmission reception of communication data through the use of an information communication network and to allow even a personal computer to browse and edit communication data. SOLUTION: When an operation section 50 is operated for transmission of communication data, communication data stored in a storage section 70 are read by an input output control section 84 via a file control section 85, and transferred to a MODEM I/F section 82. A protocol control section in the MODEM I/F section 82 assembles the transferred communication data into protocol data unit frames, which are transferred to a MODEM control section 30 via the MODEM I/F. The transferred protocol data unit is given to the MODEM control section 30, where the unit is modulated and a radio section 20 transmits the unit to an information communication network via an antenna 10. The storage section 70 is connected to a personal computer to allow a user to browse and edit communication data stored in the storage section 70.
