PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal with a passenger navigation function for offering information easily understandable for a passenger by using a narrow display, and for realizing an intuitively easily understandable interface in which any labor required for the input of a retrieval condition is reduced. SOLUTION: When a passenger 10 lost the direction of destination 11 or his traveling direction while walking toward the destination, information is compressed into a compressed configuration which can be displayed at a narrow display, for example, a configuration for expressing the direction or distance of the destination viewed from the present location with an arrow direction and length, and displayed at a display so that the direction of the designation in a real space can be made coincident with the arrow direction. When the passenger 10 makes an inquiry by facing a portable terminal as shown by 12, 13, or 14, the display is controlled so that the direction of the destination can be indicated by the arrow in any case. At the time of setting a retrieval condition, it is instructed by facing the direction of the portable terminal to the direction to be directly retrieved as shown by 12, 13, or 14. |
