PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable restraining irregularity of a range of clamping dead zone. SOLUTION: A plurality of protrusions 80 are formed in the radial outside direction, in the outer peripheral part of a bottom wall part 56A of a planetary base 56 pivotally supporting a planetary gear 54 of a planetary gear group. In the state that the planetary base 56 is accommodated in a recessed part 37 of a cover plate 36, tip surfaces of the protrusions 80 abut against the inner peripheral surface of the recessed part 37. Radial direction looseness of the planetary base 56 to the recessed part 37 of the cover plate 36 and a ring gear 46 is eliminated. As the result, generation of aberration in transmission of rotation from a sun gear 44 to the ring gear 46 is restrained. Thereby irregularity of range of a clamping dead zone can be restrained when the position of a window glass is detected by using a position detecting apparatus 30.
