PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to exactly record information and to make reproduction without errors by stabilizing laser beam source output with a temporally reference value in an unused region of a test area of an optical disk and reading the information signals recorded as plural values around a target value in a subsequent use region, thereby determining an optimum output value. SOLUTION: The optical head is located at the unused region n+1 of the test area of the optical disk and a control section 12 sets the light emission output of laser diodes 1 of the optical head at the temporally value of a reference value setting section 9 and records the same. Next, the optical head is located at the unused region n+2 of the test area. A test power transmission section 10 records the information as the plural assigned values around the target assigned value at the time of recording by successively causing the laser diodes 1 to emit light. An optimum power determining section 11 reads out the information recorded in the unused region n+2 and determines the optimum light emission output of the laser diodes 1. As a result, the exact recording of the information is made possible. |
