PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a chip tantalum capacitor of two terminal structure in which labor required for mounting work is reduced by preventing reverse mounting onto a printed wiring board. SOLUTION: The chip tantalum capacitor of two terminal structure comprises a case 10, a capacitor element 1 encased in the case 10, an anode terminal 2 provided on the bottom face of the case 10 and connected with the anode of the capacitor element 1 while being bent on the outside of the case 10, and a cathode terminal 3 provided on the bottom face of the case 10 and connected with the cathode of the capacitor element 1 while being bent on the outside of the case 10. The anode terminal 2 and the cathode terminal 3 are disposed on the adjacent sides of the bottom face of the case 10.
