The cylinder unit consists of a working cylinder unit and a spring store cylinder unit. The working piston (18) is able to be displaced in a sealed cavity of the spring piston (6). The working piston divides this cavity into a working chamber (8) and an atmospheric pressure chamber (4), through which the piston rod passes.
