The proposed rail vehicle, particularly for transportation of persons has a body casing (10) that is defined by side walls (12, 13), a floor (12) and a car roof (16). The body casing (10) has at least one device (20) for aerating and ventilating internal space (11). The aerating and ventilating device (20) of the body casing (10) internal space (11) is formed by both a mechanism (22) arranged on the car roof (16) and intended for supply of air and at least one exhaust opening (28) recessed in the body casing (10) floor (14) and being connected with an air duct (30).
