PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die spacer capable of corresponding to a general injection molding machine and certainly closing the orifice of a nozzle to prevent drooling. SOLUTION: A die spacer 1 is arranged between the fixed platen 9 and fixed mold 6 of an injection molding machine and equipped with an insertion part arranged and formed in the state aligned with the insertion hole 8 of the fixed platen 9 so as to make it possible to bring the leading end orifice 5a of a nozzle 5 into contact with the sprue bush 7 of the fixed mold 6, the nozzle touch member 22 moved between a closing position where the leading end of the nozzle 5 is brought to a contact state to close the orifice 5a and a retracted position where the leading end orifice 5a of the nozzle 5 is retracted so as to be capable of being brought into contact with the sprue bush 7 of the fixed mold 6 by a drive means and a nozzle touch member guiding support mechanism 23 guiding the movement of the nozzle touch member 22 and supporting the nozzle touch member 22 against nozzle touch force generated when brought into contact with the nozzle touch member in order to close the leading end orifice 5a of the nozzle 5.
