PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a belt with teeth on both faces by which it is possible to manufacture a belt with teeth arranged at a small pitch through minimizing rubber thickness variation and upgrade belt length accuracy through stabilizing the pitch line of a core wire, with the generation of a correct tooth shape and shorten the molding time. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a belt with teeth on both faces comprises a vulcanizing step to wind a tooth cloth around the outer peripheral face of a grooved mold, then spin a core wire on the tooth cloth and laminate an unvulcanized rubber sheet on the spun core wire and further, hot-pressing the lamination into a semivulcanized lower tooth part which in turn, is molded into a semivulcanized preform, a grinding step to grin the semivulcanized preform until the core wire is exposed and a final molding/vulcanizing step to hot-pressing a beltlike molding 9 with the tooth cloth 5' laminated on the polishing face using a press mold 22 having teeth of the same shape arranged at a constant pitch on the upper/lower plates and thereby mold-shape an upper tooth part on the molding 9 and at the same time, vulcanize it to form the belt with teeth on both faces.
