<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a steady-state deviation as well while assuring balance control stability wherein an operation volume computing part of a tandem rolling machine balance controller has an integration characteristic for integrally operating a control deviation between the control volume and a balance control target value against the control volume while following the controlling rule designed by using a dynamic characteristic model where the subject of control is dynamically made as a model. SOLUTION: A steady-state rolling condition is set by a set-up calculation and others. Then, an equation I which shows a static characteristic is obtained by deciding a balance control target value (Xm/c is a vector showing a status volume of the control subject, Ym/c is an output of the control subject, C is a factor of a state equation of the control subject). By adding a dynamic characteristic to the equation I, a dynamic characteristic state equation of the control subject being shown by an equation II (Xm/c' is a time differential of Xm/c, A, B are state equation factors of the control subject) is obtained. A balance controlling device for the tandem rolling machine is obtained by applying an ILQ designing method which being an integration type optimum control for assuring the stability and making the steady-state deviation 0, against the formula II.</p> |
