<p>PURPOSE: Microorganism-embedded media and coating method thereto are provided to reduce acclimation period of microorganisms compared to conventional wastewater treatment using insertion fiber coated with microorganisms. CONSTITUTION: The coating method comprises the steps of: (1) mixing water with microorganisms, such as Pseudomonas, Zoogloea, Nocardia, and Archromobactor, respectively; (2) spraying the mixture on the blank media, and drying in the air; (3) spraying another mixture on the media, and drying in the air. The steps are repeated continuously until whole mixture is coated for about a month.</p> |
