PURPOSE: An indoor noise preventing device the method thereof prevents the halt of the operation of an indoor noise preventing device due to the wet state of a road surface. CONSTITUTION: An indoor noise preventing device comprises a wiper driving switch(30) and a controlling device(40). The wiper driving switch(30) controls the driving state of a wiper actuator for removing a rainwater flowed on the windshield of a vehicle by being operated by a driver on rainfalls. If an electric power is provided to a vehicle, an indoor noise preventing device is initialized and a signal from the wiper driving switch(30) is inputted into the controlling device(40). The controller(40) counts time after receiving "on" signals from the wiper driving switch(30). Then, if the counted time is longer than a predetermined time, the controller(40) outputs an operation halt controlling signal of the indoor noise preventing device.
