PURPOSE: A welding rod cutter is provided to prevent the movement of a welding rod from stopping by a sending roller and simultaneously to cut the welding rod into a demanded length. CONSTITUTION: One pair of cutting rollers(66) is installed to rotate in right/reverse directions at the same rpm(revolution per minute) at a regular interval corresponding to a side portion of a welding rod. A cutter(68) is formed on a certain position of a side part of each cutting roller in a protruded shape facing the welding rod. The cutter is made up to pressurize and cut the welding rod in a process of fitting mutually upon rotation of the cutting roller. A drive unit controls the rotation of the cutting roller corresponding to the rpm of the sending roller.
