摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily evaluate abrasion resistance of lubricant when soot generated because of combustion in an internal combustion engine is mixed in the lubricant by using carbon black in stead of the generated soot and mixing a specific amount of carbon black in new lubrication oil. SOLUTION: In 100 pts.wt. of a lubrication oil composition, 0.05-5 pts.wt. of carbon black is mixed suitably, a ratio of 0.1-5 pts.wt. is desirable, and a ratio of 0.5-2 pts.wt. is more desirable. If a mixing ratio of carbon black exceeds 5 pts.wt. carbon black hardly dissolved in internal combustion engine lubrication oil. Because influence of carbon black on abrasion is low when the ratio is not more than 0.05 pts.wt. efficiency of an evaluation method for evaluating lubricant under the existence of soot is not good. As to the internal combustion engine lubrication oil to be used, there is no limitation, however, this method is suitable for evaluation of gasoline engine lubrication oil for an automobile or lubrication oil for a diesel engine.
