PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent exhausting of a cold air at initial operating by sensing a temperature in an unused side indoor unit as a secondary overload reference temperature or more to become secondary overload preventing conditions, ignoring the secondary preventing conditions and continuously operating a compressor. SOLUTION: When a temperature of an indoor unit is detected as a secondary overload preventing reference temperature of 60 deg.C or higher, whether another indoor unit is during operating or not is judged, that is, if any one indoor unit 30 is during operating and an unused indoor unit 40 is operated as an indoor operating state, a secondary overload preventing operation is not executed, but a compressor is driven to conduct the secondary overload preventing operation, thereby stopping the compressor to prevent discharging of cold air thus generated. Meanwhile, if the another indoor unit is not during operating, a normal secondary overload preventing operation is executed. Thus, even when it becomes the secondary overload preventing condition under a heating condition for operating the unused indoor unit in one room heating state, the secondary overload preventing operation is not executed, and hence exhausting of cold air at an initial time of the operation can be prevented. |
