PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily grasp the power consumption of respective electric appliances and the guide of power rates meeting them while restraining an overall cost increase by use of simple and minimum constituent members. SOLUTION: This household electric appliance A is provided with a power consumption measuring and displaying circuit 10 which involves a current transformer 6 measuring input AC current into the power supply part 3 of the electric appliance A, a measuring part 7 calculating accumulated power consumption based on the measured AC current, a controlling part 8 calculating accumulated power rate by means of multiplying accumulated power consumption calculated by the measuring part 7 by a unit rate and clocking accumulated current- carrying time, an LCD displaying part 1 cyclically-displaying the figures of the accumulated power consumption calculated and clocked, the accumulated power rate, and the accumulated current-carrying time in a predetermined order and at predetermined intervals, and a switch part 9 capable of conducting the on/off and reset operation thereof. |
