PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide three-dimensional expression control system/method, which make the operation speed of walk through in a 3D animation game to be constant in spite of the data quantity of a background and which displays data as in a way similar to the scenario that the describer of a script intends. SOLUTION: Even in a computer different in ability (plotting processing operation speed of a screen is slow), time used for the display of a prescribed operation is previously set in a scenario for displaying a picture following the scenario in same time and a control layer 13a controls the update of the screen so that the operation is completed within setting time. When screen update time exceeds setting time, time which is set next by the scenario is reduced by excess time, the execution time of the scenario is reduced and delay from real time is absorbed.
