PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a video camera that attains miniaturization, enhances the operability and reduces the cost by rationally placing a memory. SOLUTION: A caption 1 shows a view of a memory in a turned back state from a mounting state, an electrode 1a connecting to internal components is exposed to one face, a caption 1b is a notch for extraction purpose and a caption 1c is a chamfered shape. Moreover, a title seal 1d.(1e) denoting recording contents is adhered to the side face. A caption 2 is a video camera main body, a caption 3 is a lens, a caption 4 is a liquid crystal display panel that is opened/ closed, a caption 5 is a view finder, has a known structure (not shown) as shown in an arrow 5a, can be turned by about 90 degrees around a part 5e of a lens side and retained at an optional angle by a known friction mechanism. A caption 6 is a view window. A caption 2a is a memory insertion port, a caption 2b is an inner wall and has a concaved notch with respect to an outer wall external shape. A caption 7 is a memory extract lever, a caption 5b is a peeping section of the view finder 5 and its side 5c is projected along an outer wall of the memory insertion port 2a.
