Concentrated, free-flowing aqueous anionic surfactant mixture (A) having a solids content of 50-80 wt. % contains (based on the surfactant component): (a) 60-90 wt. % alkyl ether sulfate (I); (b) 10-40 wt. % alkyl sulfate (II); and optionally (c) further surfactant(s) to a total of 100 wt.%. Concentrated, free-flowing aqueous anionic surfactant mixture (A) having a solids content of 50-80 wt. % contains (based on the surfactant component): (a) 60-90 wt. % alkyl ether sulfate of formula R1O(CH2CH2O)nSO3X (I); (b) 10-40 wt. % alkyl sulfate of formula R2OSO3X (II); and optionally (c) further surfactant(s) to a total of 100 wt. %. R1, R2 = 12-22C alkyl; n = 1-10 and X = alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, ammonium, alkylammonium, alkanolammonium or glucammonium cation.
