[Class 134.] A walking stick B for use in raising a still or kinematograph camera above the heads of surrounding people &c. is detachably connectible to the camera, and carries means enabling the camera to be operated : the stick may be provided with periscopic image-finding means. As shown the stick B is hollow and has a threaded tip 13<2>, carrying the camera sciew 133, and reversible in the stick when the camera is to be attached. The camera is controlled by a pushbutton 10 which is engaged by a yoke 27 secured to a cross rod 26 slidable, within the stick, in slots 29, and operable by a rod 23 having a pushbutton projecting outside the stick. Periscopic reflectors 16, 17 are arranged within the stick adjacent to sight openings 18, 19 provided with hinged covers 20, 21.</p> |
