<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink for a lithographic press, good in transferring properties, excellent in resistance to scumming, and further excellent in press stability, image density, gloss, safety and drying properties on paper, and further to provide a lithographic apparatus capable of being readily maintained. SOLUTION: This ink for a lithographic press has 100-102 tanδvalue measured under conditions of 20 deg.C temperature, 10 rad/s circular frequency of imparted sine vibrational strain, the amount of the strain and the stress within a linear elastic region, and 103-104 Pa value of complex modulus G* of elasticity [with the proviso that G*=G'+iG" (G' is a storage elastic modulus; G" is a loss modulus; tanδ=G"/G'). The lithographic apparatus using the ink has a solid member having absorptivity of either one or both of an oil included in the ink after transfer to a recording medium, and a solvent, and a means for bringing the solid member into contact with the surface of the recording medium.</p> |
