PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form color images at a high speed by a simple means through noncontact control. SOLUTION: A printing part 1 is formed into a cylindrical shape having an ink fly part 5 and a recording medium transfer part 6 stored inside. The ink fly part makes ink drops fly to adhere to recording media, and the recording medium transfer part holds the recording media to the periphery of the ink flay part and moves in a vertical direction. The ink fly part 5 is constituted of an ink head part 11 for dropping ink, a disc-shaped rotary member 12 for making the dropped ink fly outward by a centrifugal force thereby forming ink drops, a flight control part 8 for controlling the flight of the ink drops formed by the rotary member 12 on the basis of image information, and a shaft part 7 for supporting the ink head part 11 and the rotary member 12.
