摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for measuring the refractive characteristic of the eye to prepare a topography map of the front of the eye and a distinct vision degree map of refractivity of the whole eye and measuring the refractive characteristics of individual beams when passing the eye and moreover detecting a high-order refraction error such as coma and spherical aberration in addition to myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. SOLUTION: This device comprises an optical device 14 for radiating first light beams reflected by the cornea of an eye 12; an optical device 16 for radiating light beams reflected by the retina of the eye, and a small lens array 50 for separating first and second reflected light beams into a plurality of first and second individual beams with certain optical length. In this case, the device is provided with a computer device 22 for preparing a distinct vision degree map of the eye 12 and a cornea topography map showing the optical path length of the beams using a plurality of first individual beams and a plurality of second individual beams, and a comparator device for comparing both maps to determine the selected optical characteristic of the eye 12.
