PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To converge bottles together without breaking them. SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises a chute 75 extended from one side of a main flow conveyer 22 and having the lower end positioned above the staring end of a transportation route of the conveyer 22, a branched flow conveyer 72 having a transportation terminal positioned above the upper end of the chute 75, and a cushion member installed to bring a bottle W1 dropped on the chute 75 into contact therewith in the carrying route of the main flow conveyer 22. The cushion member is composed of a plurality of cushion plates 91 arranged parallel in the transportation direction of the main flow conveyer 22 and hung to swing in the carrying direction of the main flow conveyer 22. The swinging terminal part of the cushion plate 91 is pinched between a pair of supporting bars 85 extended parallel to each other. The opposed faces of both supporting bars 85 are coated with a material with low friction. A supporting pin 87 set to the supporting bars 85 is inserted in the swinging center of the cushion plate 91. A bearing is interposed between each cushion plate 91 and the supporting pin 87.
