PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for ink jet recording which shows high ink absorption and glossiness and is free from the generation of cracks. SOLUTION: This sheet for ink jet recording has a layer, containing particulate synthetic silica and alumina with 50 nm or less average grain dia. of primary particle, which is obtained by a vapor phase process. In addition, the sheet comprises a water-double polymer layer and a layer containing the particulate synthetic silica and alumina with 50 nm or less average grain dia. of primary particle by a vapor phase process, formed in order near to a base material. |
