Air purification device consists of an adsorptive filter molded to a filter casing which is closed on one side and through which fluids can radially flow. Either the filter element can rotate about its axis of symmetry and move through a desorption device or the filter element is fixed and a desorption device can move along the filter casing. The desorption air stream is deviated as partial air stream from the whole feed stream removed by a low pressure suction. Preferred Features: The filter casing can be continuously moved through the desorption device or the desorption device can be continuously moved along the filter casing. The casing is divided into segments and can be moved discontinuously through the desorption device or the desorption device can be moved discontinuously around the filter casing.
