<p>Anchor rod having at least one section (4) provided with ribs or other raised portions or profiling and a threaded section (2) at the end or ends. There is a variable transition section (3) between the threaded section (2) and the section (4) provided with raised portions. The anchor rod is produced by using a section of rod material as the starting material and making a thread at at least one end, for example by cutting or by rolling. The section that has to be introduced into the mass to be set, for example concrete, is then produced by deformation, preferably by rolling, the core diameter of that section being reduced, as a result of which the mechanical strength of that section is also appreciably improved.</p> |
