SUBSTANCE: method involves determining peroxidation resistance of unprotected erythrocytes when initiating peroxidation process with hydrogen peroxide, determining peroxidation resistance of erythrocytes protected with antioxidant agent under study. Relation K= A'/A'', where A' is the hemolysis degree in the case of unprotected erythrocytes, A'' is the hemolysis degree in the case of erythrocytes protected with antioxidant agent under study, is used for making decision concerning antioxidation activity of the preparation by comparing its antioxidation activity with that of glutathione determined in the same way.
