PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wrong dialing as much as possible, when the use of a radio telephone system originates calls from the system by using a redialing function or memory-dialing function. SOLUTION: When the user of a radio telephone system originates a call from the system by using a redialing function or memory-dialing function, a control circuit causes a loudspeaker to produce the tone signals corresponding to the dialed number by giving the data about the tone signals to a sound processing section from a tone signal generating circuit (steps S4 and S6). The user can acoustically confirm the number redialed dialed or memory-dialed, by listening to the serial tone signals produced when the user re-dials or memory-dials.
