PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time for processing even if a job needs certifying. SOLUTION: A complex job processing part 5-1 divides a PDL print job 5-13 into a PDL expansion job 5-14 and a print job 5-21. When the PDL print job 5-17 needs certifying, the PDL expansion job 5-14 is executed before certification processing is completed and execution of the print job 5-21 is suspended. Since the PDL expansion job 5-14 is executed before the certification processing is completed, the print job 5-21 can immediately be executed if the execution of the PDL expansion job 5-14 is already finished when the certification processing is completed. Thus, time for processing is shortened.
