PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric power consumption by shortening the time of a hot water rinsing process, by rotatably driving a pump by an inverter control system motor, reducing a wash water quantity in the hot water rinsing process more than a washing process, reducing a rotating speed of the motor, and reversing the motor in a drain process. SOLUTION: In a dish washer 1, a tableware housing tank 4 is housed in an outer frame, and a cover 3 is arranged so as to open upward from this side. A pump 10 is arranged under the tableware housing tank 4 to be supported by a bottom plate 11. In this case, the pump 10 is driven by an inverter control system motor 12. A wash water quantity in a hot water rinsing process is reduced more than a washing process to shorten time for heating a water temperature up to a maximum temperature by a heater 15. Similarly, a rotating speed of the motor 12 is reduced more than the washing process to restrain a wash water delivery quantity of the pump 10 to reduce noise generated according to suction of air. The pump 10 is reversed in a drain process to drain residual water of a water storage part 23.
