PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that can stably obtain a fixed image in a good image state by correcting the image forming conditions. SOLUTION: In this device, when a test image for fixing is formed on a recording body (S1), a required toner fixing quantity is calculated by a central control part from test image data acquired at S3 (S4). Furthermore, when the intensity Ib of mirror reflection light from the testing image for fixing and light emitting intensity Ia of a halogen lamp are detected by an image information detection part, the glossiness of the test image for fixing is calculated utilizing these data (S5). Next, the actual quantity of fixed toner that is fixed to the recording body is estimated on the basis of the surface temperature (fixing temperature) of a heating roll detected by a temperature sensor at S2 and the glossiness calculated S5 (S6). Then, the forming condition of an unfixed image is compensated on the basis of the required toner fixing quantity and the actual quantity of fixed toner so that an appropriate quantity of the toner is fixed to the recording body (S7). Thus, a fixed image with a good image state can be stably obtained since fixing is carried out in a state where an appropriate quantity of toner is fixed on the recording body. |
