PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly, also easily and mechanically realize restoration when a fault takes place in a magnetic disk drive and to prevent an error when the restoration is performed. SOLUTION: This system 50 has a memory module 9, an MPU 1, an inherent information write/read program 5 operating on the operating system of a personal computer, a magnetic disk drive 2 recording and reproducing information and a flash ROM 6. The drive 2 has 1st inherent information 3 and the other information 4 being information other than it, the ROM 6 has 2nd inherent information 7 obtained by copying the information 3, and the information 7 is for backup of the information 3. |
