PURPOSE: An accelerator operator of a vehicle having a non-linear lever ratio is provided to sufficiently supply power for an initial acceleration and to prevent a zoom caused by excessive power with more than regular acceleration. CONSTITUTION: An accelerator operator contains a pedal arm(12), a guide rail member(24), a first link arm(26), a link member(22) and an auxiliary cable(34). The pedal arm is rotatively installed in the lower portion of a driver seat by a first pivot(10). The first link arm is rotated on the upper end of the guide rail member. The link member consists of a second link arm(28) of which one end is rectilinearly moved on the guide rail member and the other end is fixed to the first link arm by a pivot. The auxiliary cable connects the one end of the pedal arm and the one end of the second link arm. Therefore, an accelerating cable(18) is non-linearly moved so the moving distance is gradually reduced.
