PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball containing box capable of saving paper resources and inducing customers' interest. SOLUTION: A golf ball containing box 1 for containing five balls is the one formed into the shape of a rectangular parallelopiped having six faces in total i.e., four faces A, B, C, D extending in the longitudinal direction of the box 1 and both end faces (a), (b). Each of the top end face (a) sides of the longitudinal faces A, B, C, D has a region 5 of different colors of the red series for the range of about 1/5 L and, following this different color region 5, a bright color region 6 for the range of about 1/10 L, a dark color region 7 for the range of about 3/5 L and a bright color region 8 for the range of about 1/10 L are successively provided. A part for general notes is provided on the face C, and a display part for characteristics of the article is provided on the face D.
