PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the stable supply of water and the reduction of water rates by connecting a ground water supply pipe and a city-water supply pipe having valves respectively to one receiving tank while preferentially supplying ground water in response to the usage of water. SOLUTION: When the water level of a receiving tank 14 is made lower than the first level A (the case of water filling) at a normal time, a solenoid valve 27 is opened by operating a level sensor 29 during a time when the lowering position is placed between the first level and the second level B, and the device is controlled so that ground water is fed and the first level A is held. When ground water is not supplied even when trouble is generated in a ground water supply system and the water level is made lower than the first level A, a ball tap 24 is lowered, and a valve 21 is opened, and city water is fed. When an extremely large quantity of water are used and the water level is made lower than the fourth level D, an electrode 29b detects the lowering and the solenoid valve is opened, and the valve 21 is also opened and city water is fed. Accordingly, water is supplied stably while city water can be economized.
