PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reliable sealing ability to prevent loosening of bolts without causing complexity of the shape of an end plate, and prevent loosening of the bolts in a uniform velocity universal joint of the type in which the end plate is put between a flange of a shaft and an outer ring to be tightened with bolts. SOLUTION: A recessed part G for accommodating an end plate 50 is formed between a flange S1' and the end face of an outer ring 10. The flange S1' is socket-fitted onto the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring 10 to ensure an area at which the flange S1' directly comes into contact with the outer ring 10. Further, a part (a projecting piece 19 or a groove) which is fitted onto the end plate 50 is formed on the end face 18 of the outer ring 10 to fit the projecting piece to the end plate over a specifie distance in the axial direction.
