PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure and to miniaturize the whole engine by arranging a mechanical governor mechanism in a space by making use of a previously mounted rotary shaft required to drive the engine. SOLUTION: This device is connected to a crankshaft 4 of an engine 1 through gears 17, 18, and balancer weights 19, 20 are integrally rotatably mounted on both ends of a balancer shaft 15 to be rotated by being interlocked. A centrifugal governor mechanism 22 having balls 25 to be moved outward in the radial direction by centrifugal force is provided in a space between the balancer weights 19, 20 on the balancer shaft 15.
