PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the superior resistance to scuffing, good ink absorbability and good fixing properties for a pigment ink by setting the amount of polymer particles to the total amount of inorganic particles of a top layer at the specified value. SOLUTION: The ratio between a composite polymer and inorganic particles of a top layer is preferably set at the ratio of 3-100 pts.wt. polymer particles to the total 100 pts.wt. of inorganic particles in the top layer. Namely it is preferable that the ratio of 3-100 pts.wt. polymer is set to the 100 wt.pts. total amount of inorganic particles (inorganic particles joined with a polymer + inorganic particles added later) as a reference, and preferably at 5-30 pts.wt. As the polymer particles used for the top layer, a composite polymer formed by polymerizing a monomer having unsaturated bondings in which inorganic particles to be chemically reacted such as a colloidal silica for the top layer is in coexistence with is used to provide the resistance to scuffing, ink absorbability and fixing properties for a pigment ink. |
