PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a space with an article housing device hung down and to house various kinds of ones ordinary belongings in a lump at the same place by a method wherein article housing parts are formed at one side of a sheet-like base member and an attachment part to be attached to a support member is formed at the upper end of the base member. SOLUTION: While a plurality of article housing parts 3 are formed at the surface of a sheet-like base member 2, an attachment part 4 is formed at the upper end of the base member 2. Each of the article housing parts 3 is seamed to the base member 2 respectively at its side edges 3A and a lower edge 3B with its upper edge 3D being opened, and thereby housing spaces 5 are formed. The attachment part 4 is formed in a looped shape with the upper end of the base member 2 turned up toward the reverse side and made openable and closable with a velvet cloth-type fastener provided at the reverse side. On using a device, the attachment part 4 is hung down from a lower rail of a hanger and after a cloth is hung up on both of side rails of the hanger, various kinds of one's ordinary belongings are housed, being distributed into each of the housing spaces 5.
