<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound signal processor and a sound signal processing method for providing a sound which is rich in the acoustic feeling of a depth. <P>SOLUTION: The sound signal processor includes feature component extraction parts 32l, 32r which extract at least a high-frequency component included in the sound signal as a feature component Sc, and the sound signal processor supplies the sound signal and the extracted feature component to sound output parts SPls, SPlr so that a sound image of the extracted feature component is localized in proximity to a listener rather than a sound image of the sound signal. The sound signal processor outputs the sound signal, extracts feature components of the sound signal equivalent to high-frequency and low-frequency sound characteristic to a sound which is recorded by an on-microphone manner, and supplies the extracted feature components to the sound output part so that the sound image of the feature component is localized in proximity to a listener L rather than the sound image of the sound signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
