PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new oxadiazoline compound having a strong insecticidal activity, hardly causing damage to plants by the compound, having only slight toxicity to human beings and beasts, fish and natural enemy or the like, and having safety. SOLUTION: This new compound is expressed by formula I, wherein R1 is a 1-6C (halo)alkyl; (n) is 0-2; X is NR2R3, wherein R2 and R3 are each H or a (pyridyl substituted)1-6C alkyl or the like; R5 is a (substituted)alkyl or the like; R8 is a (substituted)phenyl or the like; A is nitrogen or the like and; B is nitrogen or the like and is e.g. 1-(2,6-dichloro-4- trifluoromethylohenyl)-3- 4-(N,N-dimethylcarbamoly)-Δ2-1,2,4-oxadiazolin-3-yl}-5- isopropoxymethyleneamino-4-trifluoromethylsulfinylpyrazole. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a compound of formula II e.g. with an acylating agent or an alkylating agent, if necessary, in the presence of an adequate acid or basic catalyst.
