PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device constituted so that the surface of a developing roller is prevented from being damaged by the edge of the terminal joining part of an endless belt-like electrophotographic photoreceptor by joining the terminal of the endless belt-like electrophotographic photoreceptor so that the upstream side thereof in the traveling direction becomes outside. SOLUTION: As for the terminal joining structure of the belt-like electrophotographic photoreceptor 1, the terminal of the photoreceptor 1 is joined so that the upstream side 1a thereof becomes outside. Then, since the circumferential speed of the developing roller 7b is set to be higher than the traveling speed of the photoreceptor 1, the surface of the roller 7b is not damaged by the edge of the terminal joining part of the photoreceptor 1 even when the roller 7b and the photoreceptor 1 are made to travel. That means, since the terminal of the photoreceptor 1 is joined so that the upstream side 1a thereof becomes outside, the surface of the roller 7b is not damaged by the edge of the terminal joining part of the photoreceptor 1. |
